EDUCATIONAL SCIENCE PUBLISHING HOUSE is a professional press run by China National Institute for Educational Research under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. Ever since its establishment in 1980, ESPH has been adhering to the principle of serving educational policy making, educational reform, educational research and improvement of educational quality. So far, ESPH publishes more than 1,000 kinds of books per year, with the reprint rate exceeding 70%. Besides publishing educational books, ESPH also broadens her publications to video and electronic products and contributes diverse, comprehensive and all level publications to scholars, researchers, policy-makers and general readers. ESPH’s publications include educational theory, teaching materials for K-12, early childhood education, vocational education, private education and references for students and pupils to improve their personality, skills and knowledge as well as related audios and videos.
Recently, ESPH has made fully use of her advantages in rich academic and research resources, strengthened multilateral cooperation and communication and formed a stable group of authors containing eminent domestic and abroad scholars. ESPH’s classical and unique academic publications are extensively recognized and favored by practitioners in education. Many books published by ESPH have won national book awards at all national book competitions. Furthermore, Educational Science Publishing House has shaped her brand and features in textbook publishing and played great role in China’s reform regarding curriculum and teaching materials. As a member of the cultural industry, ESPH is ready to further play its functions and fulfill its mission of publishing excellent and first-class books for serving as an influential research press to provide more powerful stage for integration of the advanced educational thoughts and the practice of China’s educational reform and development and making more ideological and intellectual contributions to the prosperity of educational cause in China.
